Twilight Twinkle.

coat Asos / sweater Vince Camuto / leggings Topshop / booties Vince Camuto

Hello hello! Took a little walk on the wild side for Day 2 with this fab faux fur leopard coat. I didn’t have too much time to catch the light today, but downtown Denver has twinkle lights everywhere and it was too beautiful not to share. This coat was seriously a lifesaver on this trip. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve definitely noticed. It’s a bit of a standout piece, but I was so excited for chance to actually wear it in some cold winter weather! If you don’t already own one, I suggest investing in one, or a faux fur coat at least. As long as you don’t overdo it, it adds instant glam and warmth to any outfit.

Mile High.

coat Zara (similar) / scarf H&M (similar) / jumpsuit Trina Turk (similar) / flats (similar)

Hello hello! It’s been a while, but I’ve been super busy lately prepping for convention season! I’m currently in Denver, aka the Mile High City, for my first convention of the year. Things got a little hectic, but I was able to snap a couple shots before the sun went down. It’s been a nice change of pace to actually visit a city that has below freezing temperatures during the weather, unlike my sunnier hometown. I’ve finally been able to put some of my heavier winter coats to use! For this convention, I went with a navy blue jumpsuit and my favorite Zara coat. I took a little risk in the cold with my caged flats, but my toesies survived. Can’t wait to share more of my Denver adventures!

Wrapped Up.

dress Lulu's / saddle bag DailyLook / booties RoseGold (similar)

Hello hello! Woop woop, first post of 2015! And I'm kicking it off with this new wrap dress I just picked up from Lulu's. Wrap dresses are a staple that belongs in every girl's closet. Not only are they super flattering on almost every body type, but they're also so easy to dress up or down. I took advantage of the lower neckline to show off some off my dainty dangles. The weather  has been quite warm these past couple days, but I made this maxi version a little more cold weather appropriate with some black suede booties. What's your favorite way to wear a wrap dress?

NYE 2014

dress Lulu's / jacket Blank NYC / necklace Lulu's

Hello hello! There are only about 37 hours left of 2014... I can’t believe how quickly this year has flown by! I don’t know about you guys, but 2014 has been a very interesting year for me, filled with a lot of personal growth, to say the least. As much as I am grateful for everything that has happened this year, I am seriously ready to start fresh. But first, one last party to celebrate 2014 and to ring in 2015!

Of course, NYE means metallics and sequins, so I went with this gorgeous silver maxi. I don’t have any fancy plans, so I dressed down the dress with my favorite moto jacket. That and a killer pair of pink moto heels.
Since most of my posts this year were in front of this white brick wall, I figured it was only appropriate to finish it off here too. You can bet that one of my New Year’s Resolutions is to be a little more proactive in finding more backdrops. ;) I hope you all have had an amazing year and are gearing up for another awesome one! :)

Home for the Holidays | Fuzzy Wuzzy

Target onesie / BP beanie / sweater (similar)

Hello hello! With winter weather comes super cozy and comfy loungewear, and recently I've been obsessed with this ultra soft onesie I picked up at Target for an ugly sweater party. It's got a fair isle-esque print with cute little foxes and is absolutely perfect for just lazing around the house. For extra cuddly points, I threw on my favorite creme sweater and a furry beanie. I also recently picked up Ellen DeGeneres' new book, and it is hilarious. All you need is that, a warm cup of tea or cocoa, and nice soft blanket for a perfect lazy day.

Home for the Holidays | Christmas Tree Farm

Ralph Lauren flannel (similar) / Free People jeans / FE vest (similar) / Steve Madden boots (similar)

Hello hello and Happy Holidays! One of my absolute favorite things about the holidays has to be the decorating. Christmas trees and festive decor make my home that much cozier and bring about that holiday warmth. For my family, decorating the Christmas tree is something we always do together and the joy of that night mixed with the nostalgia of all past years make for a feeling of comfort and happiness I can't even begin to describe. That's probably why I get so excited before it's time to pick out the Christmas tree. This tree farm lets you cut down your own tree so I wanted to dress the part as Lumberjack Pat, hence the flannel and vest. :) I ended up picking this amazingly aromatic Grand Fir at a different place, but this farm was so fun to run around in!
