Hello hello! Lately I've found myself mad for plaid.. scarves! For some reason, I'm super picky about my scarves and have been searching high and low for the right one. It has to perfectly chunky, soft, and just the right color. On my spending spree this past weekend, I happened across this beautiful plaid scarf at H&M and I loved it so much I bought it in two colors! It's so soft and warm, I can't help but feel cozy inside and just in time for fall too. Since this outfit was more neutral, I went with the brighter and more autumnal of the two for a pop of fall color. Paired it with my current favorite booties and felt instantly in the season, all I need is my PSL and I'm good to go!

Frisky Florals

I've got a small confession to make... I fell victim to the LF sale again. Popped in the store this past weekend, honestly thinking that I'd seen everything the first time I went until I found a couple little gems! As soon as I saw this fun floral dress, I knew I had to have it! I love the contrast between the graphic floral print and the tough mesh sleeves. To keep on with the badassery, I paired it with this edgy fringe clutch with a brass knuckle handle and knee-high gladiators. As a second option, I threw on some strappy pumps to soften up the look and make it a little more ladylike. It was the perfect dress to help me beat this heat!

Hello, hello! So I've been dying to wear this skirt for so long, but just couldn't come up with ways to wear it. Then I had the sudden thought to put it over this white LF dress and I fell in love! The blush tulle instantly made me think of Carrie's outfit in the Sex and the City intro, so I channeled her for some inspiration. I put my own little spin on the iconic look to toughen it up by adding a leather vest, a rocker-ish necklace, and a menswear watch. 

I had so much fun putting this look together, I decided to wear it out for brunch. And I have to say, I tried to do the whole fall transition thing by adding the vest, but 90+ degrees still means summer to me!

Sweatshirt Sincerely Jules / Skort LF / Sneaks Nike

Hello, hello! Hope you're all having a great weekend so far! I've been meaning to do a post about this sweatshirt, so I thought I'd do a quick one before I ran some errands!

What can I say about this sweatshirt? Nothing, other than it is the best sweatshirt I have ever owned. In my eyes, Julie Sariñana is the queen of cool so of course her line would be as comfy as it is chic. I honestly want to live in it, and sometimes have to remind myself that I can't look like a slob all the time. So I thought it would be fun to put it over this floral print skort to add a little color to the mix. When I'm running errands and want to feel more efficient, I slide on these Roshe Runs. I think the thought of wearing sneakers makes me move faster, or at least that's what it feels like!

Endless Summer

Back at it again with some more white pieces! White after Labor Day? I know, such a rebel. But I've seriously fallen in love with these distressed jeans and sandals and just had to share them with you. Every girl knows that finding that right pair of jeans is so painstaking, you really just have to snatch 'em up when you do. I was so lucky that I spotted these as soon as I walked into LF (guarded 'em with my life!).

So I guess summer is officially over, but the weather doesn't change over the course of a weekend! And let's be real, fall in SoCal is really just a cold summer day for everyone else. I would really love to be wearing sweaters right now, and I'm really hoping for some rain soon because God knows we need it. But for now, I'll be taking advantage of the heat.
This look is easily one of my go-to summer outfits because it's so comfortable and effortless. I've had this muscle tank for 2 years now and I still wear it to death! I threw on a pair of more strappy sandals to keep the outfit from looking too sloppy. Yes, I wore them in my last post, but I already know they're going to be a favorite of mine so you can bet that you'll be seeing a lot more of them!

Labor Day Whites

Hello hello! Happy Labor Day Weekend! Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend and enjoying all the fantastic sales! I know my wallet is definitely going to have a nice little dent before the weekend is over. 

My girlfriend Claire and I took advantage of the great weather and made the short drive out to LA to check out LF. It was my first time at their end of summer sale, and it was absolutely nuts. There were literally piles on piles of clothes so it was a little overwhelming riffling through it all. But this dress was perfect for our girls' day as it was easy to slip on/off and nicely breezy. I came out on top with some great pieces, and I'm so excited to share them with you. I actually bought those sandals that I'm wearing at the sale ($28!!) and was so ecstatic about them I basically wore them out of the store. You'll be sure to see them and my other purchases in my upcoming posts, so stay tuned! :)
