Mad for Plaid.

scarf H&M / sweater BDG / dress LF / booties Vince Camuto
Hello hello! Lately I've found myself mad for plaid.. scarves! For some reason, I'm super picky about my scarves and have been searching high and low for the right one. It has to perfectly chunky, soft, and just the right color. On my spending spree this past weekend, I happened across this beautiful plaid scarf at H&M and I loved it so much I bought it in two colors! It's so soft and warm, I can't help but feel cozy inside and just in time for fall too. Since this outfit was more neutral, I went with the brighter and more autumnal of the two for a pop of fall color. Paired it with my current favorite booties and felt instantly in the season, all I need is my PSL and I'm good to go!

Strapped.

Hello hello! Snatched up this slip dress in the sale section at Urban Outfitters this past weekend. Major score! The sheer detailing makes for such a unique LBD, but so versatile at the same time. As soon as I tried it on, I immediately envisioned all the different ways I was going to style it! The weather was basically perfect this weekend so I took it out for a spin and paired it with these intense spartan sandals for a more edgy look. I armed myself with some heavy metal jewelry to complete the gladiator inspired look!

Casual Comfort

So recently, I've become mildly obsessed with this re-emerging Birkenstock trend. Comfortable, chunky sandals have somehow snuck back into the limelight to join their sleeker gladiator cousins. At first, I was hesitant about the trend, not truly understanding the craze behind it until I tried it for myself. I deviated from the classic Birkenstock look, and opted for these Sam Edelman sandals. As soon as I slipped them on, I understood. They were so comfortable, I almost felt guilty! How could something so comfortable and unorthodox be one of the hottest summer trends? Regardless, I found myself wearing them every opportunity I got, I even dressed my work outfits around them. I definitely recommend this trend if you haven't already tried it.
